First, you should know about Javascript. Javascript is the most popular programming and scripting language. It can do a web page dynamic also interactive and attractive. Javascript is like the Heart of a website. Ok! that fine. But why should you learn javascript?

There are many reasons you can learn Javascript. I am sharing some of my personal opinions.

1. Love Programming:

Definitely, as a developer, I love programming and coding. So, I started learning things like HTML, CSS, Responsive Website Design. But I didn't get any feeling of a developer by learning only some things. So I choose to move to a programing language. After researching on google I find that every website like (Google, Facebook, YouTube, Wikipedia) are using javascript as a core language. I got a point that as a web developer I need to move on to learn Javascript. So I started learning Javascript.

2. killed two birds with one stone:

Yahh! the most important and enjoyable thing is you can use Javascript as a Front End Development and Back End Development. After learning javascript core functionality you can learn javascript frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, Vue. You can also learn NodeJS for backend development. Not only that if you are enough skilled in Javascript. You can code core to a website.

3. Become a Web Developer:

Obviously, if you don’t learn Javascript you will be a web developer. Like you can learn python or PHP. But there are a lot of things useful in a website you should need to apply javascript language. So, you just need a little bit of knowledge about javascript. So, I found there is no loss to learn Javascript.

If you have seen 10 job posts on a site you will find 8 of them required javascript experience. Now you think how much powerful and popular javascript is. To get hired or to be a better developer you must learn javascript.

5. Diversity of Work:

Ok, you want to learn javascript but you don't want to be a web developer. Is there any opportunity on another platform? My answer is“ YES”. It's ok you don't want to be a web developer. But you develop

  • Mobile applications (Using React Native, Flutter)
  • Desktop apps (Using ElectronJS)
  • Cloud development
  • Game Development
